Subject reportedly burns paper in jail cell | Police Blotter

The following police blotter entries were provided by the King County Sheriff’s Office.

TRESPASS

• On Nov. 16 officers were contacted regarding reports that a subject refused to leave another’s residence. The police report stated the subject followed a kid home from school and then refused to leave the front porch.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS

• On Nov. 16 officers were called to the Covington Fred Meyer due to reports that a male subject had been in the restroom for nearly three hours.

DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE

• On Nov. 16 during a traffic stop, officers determined the driver had a suspended license, expired tabs and their required interlock had not be installed.

ARSON

• On Nov. 17 officers reported arriving with a subject in custody who had been driving under the influence. The police report stated, officers emptied his pockets prior to placing him in a cell. The report added that officers did not turn out his pockets. While he was in his cell, he reportedly burned a piece of paper.

FRAUD

• On Nov. 17 it was reported to officers that the victim received a phone call from someone at National Car Rental regarding a vehicle that was rented under their name. According to the policed report, the victim had not rented a vehicle.
