With Thanksgiving this week garbage collection will not happen on your scheduled date.

Republic Services’ holiday schedule states that residential, business and industrial pick up services will run one day late.

There will be no pick up on Thanksgiving day, Thursday, Nov. 24.

If Thursday is your scheduled day, Republic Services said your collection date will be Friday, Nov. 25. And if Friday is your usual day, it will be Saturday this week.

Waste Management’s holiday schedule for commerical, residential and industrial customers is similar to Republic Services.

All routes will be delayed 24 hours. Same goes for those customers who’s collection day is normally Friday.
