Washington State Patrol detectives seeking the public’s help in hit and run from Feb. 25

The Washington State Patrol sent out a media release today looking for witnesses who may have seen a collision happen on Feb. 25 around 3 a.m.

The release stated the incident happened on southbound state Route 167 near the I-405 interchange.

Washington State Patrol detectives have determined that a gold Lincoln passenger vehicle was traveling on southbound SR 167, racing other vehicles when it lost control and hit a Honda Civic, according to the release.

The driver and passengers from the Lincoln, got out of the vehicle and got into another car before fleeing the scene.

One passenger from the Civic suffered a broken femur.

Due to the victim’s injury and the other information, the release said, the driver will be charged with felony vehicular assault and hit and run.

WSP detectives are looking for anyone that may have additional information on the incident or who may be able to help identify the driver as well as the passengers from the Lincoln. And also, anyone that was in the vehicle that helped those suspects flee the scene, the release added.
