Gerald “Jerry” Thomas Curtindale

Gerald “Jerry” Thomas Curtindale, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away suddenly on October 1, 2012, at the age of 62. Born October 15, 1949 and raised in West Seattle, Jerry was a 1969 graduate of West Seattle High School. He worked as an ASE Master Machinist for Heads Up Inc. in Auburn, Washington. His passion in his younger years was his AA Foreign Stock racing team Libra Racing, driver of the number 95 fastback, where he was known as “Fireball”. Then he turned to classic car restoration and showing his truck “Orange Crush”. Soon to follow he started to volunteer at the Hydroplane Museum, (Kent, WA) and crew for the Oh Boy Oberto and UL 9.Jerry is survived by, Alynn, his loving wife of 44 years; daughters Wendy (Donn) and Stacey (Scott); grandchildren Tanya, Timmy, Eric, and Cory; great-grandchild Taylie; many extended-family members and great friends. A Celebration of Remembrance will be held at 11am – 2pm on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum in Kent, WA located at 5917 South 196th Street Kent, WA 98032.
