Kim Wyman is the only candidate for Washington Secretary of State that is a certified elections official, has successfully managed 100 plus elections, and has endorsements from current or past elections officials in every county – both Democrats and Republicans. Wyman has received endorsements from across the political spectrum, from the Washington Association of Business to the Washington Education Association. Her opponent’s endorsements are primarily Democrat party officials or politicians.

Wyman has demonstrated her commitment to nonpartisan administration of elections. But, Wyman’s opponent urged Wyman to break the law and cancel the Washington Presidential Primary. This action clearly demonstrates the opponent’s lack of experience and understanding of election law and reflects a willingness to manage elections to suit her viewpoint.

If you have neither experience nor certification for the job to which you seek election, how do you run a campaign? By throwing nasty darts at the candidate who does have the experience and certification, and by avoiding any consideration of your professional shortcomings. Don’t be fooled by these attacks on Wyman’s credibility. They are simply red herrings.
