Kentwood beats Kentlake, Auburn | Cross Country

Kentwood boys and girls cross country teams beat Kentridge and Auburn at a meet Wednesday at Clark Lake Park in Kent.
The Conks boys beat the Chargers 26-29 and the Trojans 25-34.The Chargers narrowly beat the Trojans 28-29.
The Conks girls outran the Chargers 23-36 and the Trojans 22-37.The Chargers girls beat the Trojans 23-34.
Conks boys junior Robin Cheema took first with a time of 17 minutes, 27 seconds. Senior Dasan Telford took fifth with a time of 17:52. Junior Kris Angus placed seventh, finishing at 18:20, while senior Varrick Anderson took eighth with a time of 18:36. Senior Eli McMeen took ninth, crossing the finish line at 18:39.
Chargers boys senior Sterling Bath placed second with a time of 17:39. Junior Endalkachew Abebaw placed third, finishing at 17:40. Junior Aleks Biteman took 10th, finishing at 18:41.
Conks girls junior Tessa Carlin took first with a time of 21:51. Junior Nicole Charlton placed third with a time of 21:58. Sophomore McKenna Johnson took seventh, finishing at 22:50.
Chargers girls sophomore Kyra Kaiser placed fourth with a time of 21:58. Senior Caitlin Easterling took eighth with a time of 22:51. Junior MacKenzie Tucker took ninth with a time of 23:00. Senior Kenedy Ramos took 10th with a time of 23:09.
