Cody Quinn wins regional wrestling title, headed to championships

Cody Quinn, a graduate of Kentwood High and student at Minnesota State University, won the 165 pound weight class at the NCAA Division II Super Region 3 Wrestling Tournament Feb. 24.

Minnesota State had four wrestlers punch their ticket to the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championship en route to a third place team finish with 84.5 points.

Quinn went 4-0 to claim his first regional championship. In the championship match, Quinn defeated Jacob Begin of Southwest Minnesota State 12-3.
