Kentwood brings home medals in field and track | State Track and Field

The Kentwood boys track and field team finished 19 with 12 points and the girls were 21st with 12 points at the 4A state meet at Mt. Tahoma High in Tacoma.

Brandon Stribling ran seventh in the 100-meter dash in 11.20 and took the bronze in the long jump with 22-11.50.

For the boys, Terence Grady ran fifth in the 110-meters hurdles in 14.80 seconds. He took 11th in the discus with 146 feet, 1 inch.

Treyvon Floyd was 10th in the high jump  at    6-02.

For the girls, the 400 relay team of Aurie Taylor, Bebe Thomas, Malea Munoz and Zaria Jones  ran third in 48.87.

Samantha LaRue took third in the shot put with 34-07.75.

In the long jump Sarah Toeaina was eighth reaching 16-10.25 and Brittany Woke 12th with    16-05.25.

Toeaina was fourth in the triple jump hitting 36-11.25.
