Tahoma falls in state tournament | High School Softball

After its opening round win, the Tahoma softball team's run in state ended without any medals or trophies.

The Bears fell in the quarterfinals on May 30 to eventual state runner-up Walla Walla, 5-1, and were handedly defeated 19-4 by Richland in the consolation bracket later in the day. Tahoma finished its regular season undefeated and as SPSL 4A North champions.

Puyallup, which won the SPSL 4A South with a 15-1 record, defeated Walla Walla for the state championship on May 31.
