Girls select soccer team finishes third at nationals

The Eastside FC98 Red premier soccer team finished third in the 2014 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Germantown, Md.

The Eastside squad, which featured Tahoma High School soccer player Zoe Milburn, lost 0-1 in the semifinals, allowing the lone score with just a few minutes left in the second half of overtime.

Eastside won last years National Championship title in the U-14 age group. They were the first Washington team to win the National Championship since 1999.
