Tahoma’s girls soccer won two straight loser-out district playoff games to earn a spot in the 4A state championship tournament.

Sophomore midfielder Mia Corbin scored in the first match against Bellarmine Prep which Tahoma went on to win 4-2 in a shootout.

Tahoma then took on league rival Kentwood Nov. 9, coming away with a 2-0 win to knock the Conquerors out of the playoffs. Bailey Martoncik and Kaelan Shamseldin scored for the Bears.

Tahoma is traveling to Central Valley in Spokane for its first-round state contest at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. If Tahoma wins it will take on the winner of Wenatchee-Camas.
