Tahoma volleyball undefeated in regular season

The West Central District 4A tournament begins Friday at Kentwood High School.

The regular season wrapped up Oct. 24 for Tahoma volleyball as the Bears beat Kennedy Catholic 3-0.

The Bears played two games in the post season on Oct. 29 in the North Puget Sound League 4A tournament.

Tahoma lost both, 3-2 to Auburn Mountainview and 3-1 to Kentwood.

The Bears still move on to the next round of the post season, the West Central District 4A tournament, as the No. 4 seed.

The Bears first game is noon Nov. 4, at Kentwood High School against Union.

Kentwood

The Conquerors finished in second place right behind the Bears.

The regular season ended with a 3-0 win over Kentlake.

During the NPSL tourney Oct. 29, the Conks lost 3-0 to Auburn Riverside before beating the Bears 3-1.

Kentwood’s next game is noon Nov. 4, against Auburn at Kentwood.

Kentlake

The Falcons finished with a 2-5, 8-8 record.

During the tournament Oct. 29 Kentlake beat Federal Way 3-2 and then lost to Kent-Meridian 3-0.

The Falcons entered the next round as the No. 10 seed.

On Tuesday at the time of press, it appeared Kentlake’s next match would be noon Friday against Auburn Mountainview played at Kentwood High School.
