Bike challenge and bike safety rodeo

Maple Valley hosted their annual Bike challenge and safety rodeo to promote healthy living and to educate the community on bike safety.

Boys and girls 11 years and younger raced through Lake Wilderness Park on Saturday, June 23 for the Bike Challenge and Bike Safety Rodeo. The day started for the young bikers by warming up and exploring the track they would be racing on. Then the races began. The oldest kids went first, and then the youngest. Awards were given to the fastest kids in their age group. After competing, the Maple Valley Police Department was there to teach bike safety to those who attended.
