A little piece of kindness

Students give seniors are to smile about

The faces of each senior lit up when they saw what was happening.

Shadow Lake Elementary School’s leadership team of fourth and fifth graders delivered art tiles to senior citizens living at Fountain Court Senior living in Maple Valley on June 12.

The kids handed the seniors art and then spoke with them about what each art tile was and what it meant. Most of the tiles were inspirational pieces of art or sayings.
