DSHS Mobile Service Office is coming to Maple Valley

In need of cash assistance, food assistance, medical assistance or Medicare Savings Program? The Washington State Department of Social and Health Service (DSHS) is sending it Mobile community Service Office to Maple Valley on June 5.

From 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the mobile office will be at the Maple Valley Food Bank, 21415 Renton-Maple Valley Road SE.

While DSHS mobile services is in Maple Valley, representatives will be available to do application interviews for food, cash and select medical assistance, according to a DSHS press release.

They will also do yearly eligibility and mid-certification reviews, along with answering any questions about any DSHS services.

The goal of the mobile service office, is to reach new clients and improve customer service, according to the DSHS website.

The mobile services goes to places in Washington where DSHS representatives do not usually have a presence.
