Kentlake High School’s Toni Thibert, basketball, was selected as the Covington Maple Valley Reporter’s Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 21.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Math

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: I enjoy doing outside activities like hammocking, backpacking and hiking.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My youth pastor — Ashley Creek

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: My pre-game ritual is to eat either Sour-Punch candy or Starbursts with my teammates.
