Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Sports medicine because I learn about all the life threatening injuries possible in my sport.

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Competitive ice curling.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: Colter Papritz

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: During the meet, I wear a pair of pink sunglasses I’ve had since 8th grade track. I also wear my luck socks/lucky tights/lucky spikes and I have to chew gum on the left side of my mouth when I vault.

My friends say I’m superstitious.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Horses in the back,” Remix

From the Sideline

“Zach got 2nd in the Pole Vault in the Arcadia Invitational, Invite (Elite) section, with a height of 16’ 1”. This meet is a huge invite meet representing the top in the nation. The winner also had the same mark, won on misses.” – Coach Keith Eager.
